URGO gel for cold sores 3 ml

URGO gel for cold sores is intended for the prevention and treatment of cold sores. It should be used as soon as the first symptoms appear (tingling, itching, burning sensation) until the cold sore disappears completely. URGO gel for cold sores is a protective film-forming gel: it forms an invisible and insulating healing film that is effective against cold sores at any stage of development. This tool:

relieves the sensation of tingling, itching and burning,
limits the development of cold sores,
limits the formation of blisters and scabs,
promotes healing,
limit infection.

Contraindications: Do not apply the preparation:

for cold sores on the lips, the diameter of which is greater than 1 cm. In this case, you should consult a doctor;
in case of bacterial infection or risk of bacterial infection (impetigo);
in case of weakened immune system (chronic diseases, chemotherapy);
in case of atopic eczema simultaneously with the formation of a cold sore;

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the components of the preparation. Due to the lack of appropriate research, the use of the preparation during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended. Warnings:

use only on the skin;
do not use for children under 6 years old;
do not apply to the eye area;
avoid contact with eyes;
close the vial carefully after use;
do not reuse the applicator (applicators are disposable);
do not swallow;
do not smoke during application, before the preparation is completely dry or near an open vial;
the preparation in liquid form is highly flammable;
store out of reach of children;
it is not necessary to remove film residue before reapplying.

If it is necessary to remove the preparation, apply the gel again and immediately wipe it with a tissue.

consult a doctor or pharmacist in case of doubt or if:
more than 6 cold sores appear during the year,
no visible changes after seven days of use.
